Hallmark Channel announced on Tuesday that it’s going to produce an original telefilm about Prince William and his fiancée, Kate Middleton, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Entitled "William & Kate: A Royal Love Story," the movie is said to be premiered on Aug. 13. But the casting in the film hasn’t been revealed yet.
The movie was written by and will be produced by Linda Yellen, who is also the executive producer of the popular film "The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana" about the once-fairytale love story of Prince William’s parents.
According to Barbara Fisher, Hallmark senior vice president of original programming, the film chronicles the couple from their initial meeting to the planning of the wedding.
"While biographical, the film is a love story with an inside look at the nuances of a modern monarchy," said Barbara Fisher.
The Hallmark film is the second TV movie about William and Kate. The first one, "William & Kate" produced by Lifetime, is set to be premiered around the time of the wedding at Westminster Abbey on April 29.
