South Korea's Jang Dong-gun, Japan's Odagiri Joe and China's Fan Bingbing promoted their new movie "My Way" yesterday at the Cannes Film Festival, May 15.
Directed by South Korean director Kang Je-kyu, the ambitious war blockbuster is co-produced by China, Japan and South Korea.
The production team released a three-minute trailer infused with sensational wartime scenes and a dozen of still shots publicly seen for the first time at yesterday's press conference, entertainment website M1905.com reported.
Chinese actress Fan Bingbing, who plays a fighting hero in the film, attended at the press conference in a plain asymmetrical red dress and did not sport a fancy hairdo.

"My Way" centers on two men set in the Battle of Normandy during World War II. Kang Je-kyu deals with humanity through the war film in the context of a personal story rather than on a national level.
Shooting began last October in South Korea and will continue in Latvia after the promotional events in Cannes. "My Way" is scheduled to open in cinemas in December.
