Museum Cultural Show & Learning about People, Things, and Life during the Dragon Boat Festival
In 2018, the Museum formed a special explanation team: Fanghua Explanation Team. The members of the team, with an average age of 57, are all retirees from all walks of life in the capital city, including teachers, leaders of state-owned enterprises, senior enterprise managers, lawyers, etc. They all showed their ardor for museums by continuing to dedicate themselves to spreading traditional Chinese culture and knowledge to the audience via the Capital Museum.
After a year of industrious training and practice and the addition of new Fanghua members, a stronger and more mature Fanghua Explanation Team will make their debut on "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day" on June 8 this year to explain the city's culture and the first national treasures “Bojuli” (early Western Zhou tripod cauldron) and "Coral enamel bottle with flowers and bird patterns." The event also includes the presentation of embroidery and silk fabrics from Capital Museum restoration experts, which demonstrates the charm and inheritance of traditional culture.
