The choir is made up of women who come from various backgrounds, united by the same passion: choir singing. Mayahuel intends to reveal the existing musical heritage for the female choir with a repertoire that ranges all the way from medieval to contemporary music. One of the group's milestones is to spread traditional folk music from Latin American, especially music originating from Mexico.
