Article 31. Various periods specified by the Center for Protection of Copyright in China under these Measures do not include the first day. When the period is calculated by year or month, the period will expire at the corresponding date in the last month; and the last day of that month will be the expiration date if there is no corresponding day in that month. If a period expires on a legal holiday, the first working day after the holiday will be the expiration date.
Article 32. In the case of various documents mailed by the applicants to the Center for Protection of Copyright in China, the date of mailing shall be indicated by the postmark. If the postmark is unclear, the date of receipt will be the submission date unless proved otherwise by the applicants. In the case of various documents mailed by the Center for Protection of Copyright in China, the documents will be concluded to have been received 15 days after the postmark if the addressee is in the capital of a province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the central government, and 21 days in other regions.
Article 33. If the period specified by the Measures or the Center for Protection of Copyright in China is missed due to force majeure or for other justified reasons, the period can be extended for 30 days after the obstacle is eliminated. Article 34. The Measures may be interpreted, supplemented, or revised by the National Copyright Administration. Article 35. The Measures shall go into force from the date of promulgation.
