Chinese stocks jumped at the midday on Wednesday, tracking an overnight rally on the Wall Street.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index advanced 1.33 percent to 2,366.11 points. The Shenzhen Component Index closed the morning session at 10,003.50 points, up 1.66 percent.
Overnight, the Dow Jones industrial average gained 194.13 points, or 1.50 percent, at 13,115.54, its first closing above 13,000 since April 5. The Standard & Poor's 500 rose 21.21 points, or 1.55 percent, to 1,390.78, its best gain since March 13.
