The total installed capacity of the Ninghai Pumped Storage Power Station is 1,400 megawatts. It will play a pivotal role in Zhejiang's power grid, encompassing functions like peak load management, valley filling, frequency regulation, and emergency backup, thereby ensuring the safe, cost-effective, and stable operation of the Zhejiang power grid.
It will also serve as a vital power transmission conduit for local new energy sources, such as wind and photovoltaic systems.
