This year, China has handled more than 100 billion parcels as of Monday morning, 39 days earlier than 2022, showcasing the sector's strong resilience and vitality, the State Post Bureau of China said on Monday.
According to a real-time monitoring data platform from the bureau, the 100 billionth parcel was sent out at 7:39 am from a warehouse in Qingdao, Shandong province.
The parcel was a down coat jacket produced in Changshu, Jiangsu province, and it was pre-placed at a warehouse in Qingdao. The customer, who is in Qingdao, is expected to receive the jacket on Monday.
The sector's vitality has demonstrated that China's economy has continued to improved, the bureau said.
