During the opening remarks, Chen Yin, chairman of the China Tourism Group (CTG), expressed optimism for the future of the tourism and travel retail sectors. He pointed to the accelerating recovery of tourism consumption in China and the long-term growth potential of travel retail, noting that "Hainan's booming offshore duty-free market exemplifies this, solidifying the province's position as a leading international tourism consumption center."
Chen emphasized CTG's and CDFG's commitment to "doing business in good faith and providing quality services" as a key driver of consumer trust. The group has taken the lead by establishing demonstration sites at the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, further supporting Hainan's development as an international tourism consumption center and free trade port.
This year's CICPE brings together a wide range of global consumer products, introducing more domestic and international high-quality goods and services to improve people's quality of life and set new trends in how people shop and consume. The expo provides a platform for showcasing and trading global consumer products. CTG and its subsidiary CDFG are deeply involved in this year's event, highlighting their leadership and innovative prowess in the global tourism retail market.
Visitors to the 600-square-meter CDFG booth in Hall 5 of the Main Exhibition Hall can expect a unique and immersive experience. The booth, with its simple yet elegant design, features a 360-degree dome as the centerpiece, which is equipped with high-definition equipment to showcase a diverse array of international consumer products. The extensive selection includes cosmetics, beverages, food, general merchandise, electronics, luxury accessories, and jewelry, reflecting the latest trends and innovations.
The cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex, one of the three sub-venues featuring duty-free shopping, has launched the China Duty Free New Consumption Scene Exhibition, offering a dedicated platform for duty-free shopping experiences. Additionally, CDFG is conducting themed marketing activities across its Hainan stores to further tap into consumer potential and provide richer, high-quality shopping experiences.
CDFG, with the support of its parent company CTG, plans to leverage the global consumption event series and the "Consumption Promotion Year" initiative to fulfill its mission of enhancing consumer lifestyles. Utilizing its strengths in the tourism industry chain, CDFG will continue prioritizing "doing business in good faith and providing quality services" while expanding its presence in Hainan. The goal is to further integrate with the new development landscape and lead in promoting global consumption innovation.
