The upcoming 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will feature a major exhibition on health services, highlighting breakthroughs in medical research and technology. The event will gather 20 national medical centers, public hospitals, and tech parks to showcase their latest achievements in healthcare.
With the theme "Global Services, Shared Health," the exhibition aims to promote international trade, technological innovation, and investment cooperation in the healthcare sector. Located in Hall 6 of Shougang Park, the 6,300-square-meter space will focus on biopharmaceutical innovation, smart healthcare, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and elderly care.
Eighty-eight leading global companies and healthcare institutions will present their advanced technologies, products, and medical solutions through both online and offline platforms. The exhibition will cover the full spectrum of health services, from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation.
Notably, 35% of participants are Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders, including Siemens, Varian, United Imaging, New Century Healthcare, and Novo Nordisk, which will be making their debut at the event. The exhibition will also feature the latest in medical research and technology transformation from institutions like the University of Hong Kong - Shenzhen Hospital, Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, and Peking University People's Hospital.
In the TCM section, 38 institutions, including the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Tong Ren Tang Group, will showcase their latest innovations. During the event, he third Beijing TCM International Consumption Week will be held, offering immersive experiences and highlighting new trends in TCM.
The Health Services section will also feature 21 international forums on topics such as public health, healthcare cooperation, innovative medicine, digital healthcare, medical AI, and oncology. These forums aim to foster meaningful dialogue and advance global health governance.
