The independent enrollment examination of Guizhou University has decided to cancel the writing section of its entrance examination this year, leaving a face-to-face interview as the only method of evaluation for the fiercely competitive process.
The written exam score will be replaced by students' second year of senior high school combined final exam scores in Chinese, math and English language.
