Over the past 10 years since the proposal of building a human community with a shared future was made, China's green development has benefited the nation while also being a main contributor of growing the world's green areas.
In the past decade, a total of 64 million hectares of trees were planted in China, accounting for about 25% of those worldwide. More than 800,000 hectares of wetland were added or restored, a quarter of the world's new forest land.
