a pity if you don??t visit the Summer Palace.
The
Summer Palace is located in the northwestern suburb of Beijing,
about 10 km away from the downtown area. It has a total area
of 290 hectares and three-quarters of it is water. The Summer
Palace consists of the Longevity Hill and the Kunming Lake,
with over 3,000 palaces, halls, pavilions and corridors in different
types of architecture. It used to be the imperial garden of
the Qing Dynasty.
