Improving the Wellbeing of the People Through Development

Improving the wellbeing of the people is the fundamental goal of development. Efforts must continue to expand access to childcare, education, employment, medical services, elderly care, housing, and social assistance. The poverty alleviation campaign must be intensified, to ensure that the impact of joint development is more broadly felt as everyone contributes to and gains from these efforts. It is critical in this respect to promote human development and bring prosperity to all. China will continue to implement the Peaceful China initiative, strengthen and improve social governance in an innovative manner, and promote social harmony and stability, so as to ensure enduring peace and prosperity.

在發(fā)展中保障和改善民生

增進(jìn)民生福祉是發(fā)展的根本目的。當(dāng)代中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨人治國(guó)理政的出發(fā)點(diǎn)和落腳點(diǎn)，就是多謀民生之利、多解民生之憂，在發(fā)展中補(bǔ)齊民生短板、促進(jìn)社會(huì)公平正義，在幼有所育、學(xué)有所教、勞有所得、病有所醫(yī)、老有所養(yǎng)、住有所居、弱有所扶上不斷取得新進(jìn)展，深入開展脫貧攻堅(jiān)，保證全體人民在共建共享發(fā)展中有更多獲得感，不斷促進(jìn)人的全面發(fā)展、全體人民共同富裕。同時(shí)，通過(guò)建設(shè)平安中國(guó)，加強(qiáng)和創(chuàng)新社會(huì)治理，維護(hù)社會(huì)和諧穩(wěn)定，確保國(guó)家長(zhǎng)治久安、人民安居樂(lè)業(yè)。
