The spirit of the Chinese women's volleyball team 

The Chinese women's volleyball team is known for its tenacity, teamwork, pursuit of excellence and unyielding spirit.

From 1981 to 1986 the team won five consecutive world championships, earning glory for the nation and creating a collective memory for Chinese people old and young. Their spirit has inspired numerous people and remains a symbol of sporting excellence. Of course, no team can be always victorious in the sporting arena. They have on occasion lost matches and experienced failures. However, the players have never lost faith, but girded their loins and prepared for the next challenge. 

In September 2019, the team successfully defended their status as World Cup champions. This was their 10th successful world championship. In his congratulatory telegram, President Xi Jinping praised the team for displaying once again their traditional teamwork and indomitable spirit in competing with every strong rival.

The team's influence on the Chinese nation has transcended the volleyball court, and their spirit has inspired people from every sector of society to continue their endeavors in their fields.

女排精神

女排精神是中國(guó)女子排球隊(duì)“頑強(qiáng)奮斗、團(tuán)結(jié)協(xié)作、勇攀高峰、永不言敗”等精神品格的總概括。

從1981年到1986年,中國(guó)女排創(chuàng)下世界排球史上第一個(gè)“五連冠”,成為一代中國(guó)人的集體回憶。女排精神為人們口口相傳,成為耳熟能詳?shù)捏w育價(jià)值符號(hào)。競(jìng)技場(chǎng)上沒(méi)有常勝將軍,中國(guó)女排輸過(guò)比賽、丟過(guò)冠軍,也經(jīng)歷過(guò)漫長(zhǎng)低谷,卻秉持團(tuán)隊(duì)精神、咬緊牙關(guān)拼到底,體現(xiàn)了女排精神的內(nèi)核。

2019年9月,中國(guó)女排奪得2019年女排世界杯冠軍,成功衛(wèi)冕。這是中國(guó)女排贏得的第十個(gè)世界大賽冠軍。習(xí)近平在賀電中指出,中國(guó)女排在比賽中不畏強(qiáng)手、敢打敢拼,打出了風(fēng)格、賽出了水平,充分展現(xiàn)了團(tuán)結(jié)協(xié)作、頑強(qiáng)拼搏的女排精神。中國(guó)女排對(duì)中國(guó)人的影響力早已超過(guò)體育本身,女排精神也超越了體育范疇,走向各行各業(yè),激勵(lì)著全體中國(guó)人民不忘初心,砥礪前行。
