The Modern Military Force Structure with Chinese Features

Addressing a CMC meeting on reform on November 24, 2015, Xi Jinping stressed the importance of building a modern military force structure with Chinese features, able to win informationized wars and effectively accomplish its missions. 

To achieve this it is essential to build a modern army that meets the strategic demands for maneuver operations as well as multi-dimensional offense and defense; a modern navy capable of near seas defense and far seas protection; a modern air force that integrates air and space capabilities and coordinates offensive and defensive operations; a modern rocket force with both nuclear and conventional capabilities able to deter wars in all battle spaces; a modern strategic support force that integrates existing systems and aligns civil and military endeavors; a modern joint logistic support force that provides joint support for joint operations and joint training; and a modern armed police force that is distinguished by its versatility and effectiveness in the maintenance of stability. 

中國(guó)特色現(xiàn)代軍事力量體系

2015年11月24日，習(xí)近平在中央軍委改革工作會(huì)議上提出，努力構(gòu)建能夠打贏信息化戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)、有效履行使命任務(wù)的中國(guó)特色現(xiàn)代軍事力量體系。

主要包括：按照機(jī)動(dòng)作戰(zhàn)、立體攻防的戰(zhàn)略要求，努力建設(shè)一支強(qiáng)大的現(xiàn)代化新型陸軍；按照近海防御、遠(yuǎn)海防衛(wèi)的戰(zhàn)略要求，努力建設(shè)一支強(qiáng)大的現(xiàn)代化海軍；按照空天一體、攻防兼?zhèn)涞膽?zhàn)略要求，努力建設(shè)一支強(qiáng)大的現(xiàn)代化人民空軍；按照核常兼?zhèn)?、全域懾?zhàn)的戰(zhàn)略要求，努力建設(shè)一支強(qiáng)大的現(xiàn)代化火箭軍；按照體系融合、軍民融合的戰(zhàn)略要求，努力建設(shè)一支強(qiáng)大的現(xiàn)代化戰(zhàn)略支援部隊(duì)；按照聯(lián)合作戰(zhàn)、聯(lián)合訓(xùn)練、聯(lián)合保障的要求，努力建設(shè)一支強(qiáng)大的現(xiàn)代化聯(lián)勤保障部隊(duì)；按照多能一體、有效維穩(wěn)的戰(zhàn)略要求，努力建設(shè)一支強(qiáng)大的現(xiàn)代化武警部隊(duì)。
