The Military System with Chinese Features

In his report to the 19th CPC National Congress, Xi Jinping called for developing and improving a military system with Chinese features, which is a system of institutions ensuring the CPC's position as the ruling party and its mission to improve the socialist system, protect national security and development interests, and promote world peace and development. The system guides the development and employment of the armed forces, and plays a fundamental and all-encompassing role in strengthening national defense and the military. An important component of China's socialist system, this system is a product of innovative application by the CPC of Marxist military theory to China's realities. At the institutional level it provides essential support for achieving the Party's goal of building a world-class military in the new era. 

中國特色社會(huì)主義軍事制度

2017年10月18日，習(xí)近平在中國共產(chǎn)黨第十九次全國代表大會(huì)的報(bào)告中提出，完善和發(fā)展中國特色社會(huì)主義軍事制度。中國特色社會(huì)主義軍事制度，是中國共產(chǎn)黨為鞏固黨的執(zhí)政地位和完善社會(huì)主義制度、維護(hù)國家安全和發(fā)展利益、促進(jìn)世界和平與發(fā)展而確立的軍事力量建設(shè)和運(yùn)用規(guī)則體系，基本功能是調(diào)節(jié)軍事關(guān)系、規(guī)范軍事實(shí)踐、保障軍事發(fā)展，對(duì)國防和軍隊(duì)建設(shè)具有根本性、全局性、基礎(chǔ)性作用。中國特色社會(huì)主義軍事制度，是中國特色社會(huì)主義制度的重要組成部分，是中國共產(chǎn)黨把馬克思主義軍事理論與中國軍事實(shí)踐相結(jié)合的偉大創(chuàng)新，是實(shí)現(xiàn)黨在新時(shí)代的強(qiáng)軍目標(biāo)、全面建成世界一流軍隊(duì)的根本制度保障。
