Revolutionary Officers and Soldiers of the New Era with Faith, Ability, Courage, and Integrity

Addressing the Military Political Work Conference in Gutian, Xi Jinping called for training officers and soldiers of the new era with faith, ability, courage, and integrity, bearing in mind our goal of building a strong military and personnel development challenges under new conditions. The members of this force are expected to show an unwavering commitment to the Party's cause and obey the Party's orders, be well-trained and able to fight and win tough wars, display the courage to confront any danger, and have moral integrity. 

These are the qualities we are trying to reinforce in our service members who will be a pillar in our effort to build a strong country and a strong military. 

培養(yǎng)“四有”新時代革命軍人

2014年10月，習近平在古田全軍政治工作會議上提出，要適應強軍目標要求，把握新形勢下鑄魂育人的特點和規(guī)律，著力培養(yǎng)有靈魂、有本事、有血性、有品德的新一代革命軍人。有靈魂就是要信念堅定、聽黨指揮，有本事就是要素質過硬、能打勝仗，有血性就是要英勇頑強、不怕犧牲，有品德就是要情趣高尚、品行端正。這深刻回答了強國強軍需要什么樣的軍人、怎樣培養(yǎng)新時代革命軍人的重大問題。
