Chinese President Hu Jintao on Wednesday appointed Fu Ying as ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Fu was appointed to replace Zha Peixin after the nomination was approved by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), Fu served as ambassador to (Xinhua News Agency April 12, 2007)
