Most parts of east and central China will see gradually-rising temperatures in the next few days, the national observatory said on Sunday.
From Sunday to Monday, east and central China is expected to witness a "strong momentum" for warming up, with some areas seeing temperatures over 15 degrees Celsius, said the National Meteorological Center (NMC) in a statement on its website.
However, northeast China and Inner Mongolia are forecast to experience slight decline in temperature due to a moderate cold front, said the NMC.
In the next three days, most parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and southwest Xinjiang will experience moderate snow, according to the NMC.
In the meantime, the combined impact of a cold front and warm moist current will bring moderate to heavy rain to parts of southeast China, said the NMC.
