Pakistan's coalition has finished its charge sheet against President Pervez Musharraf on Friday, which would be tabled in the parliament together with impeachment motion next week, a senior official said.

A special committee has finalized the draft charge-sheet against president and presented the document to law minister, said Information Minister Sherry Rehman.

"This document is expected to be sent to leadership of coalition partners by Sunday or Monday and then it would be presented in the parliament," Rehman told reporters.

Also on Friday, the provincial assembly in southwestern Pakistan's Balochistan province on Friday adopted a resolution against President Pervez Musharraf, asking him to take vote of confidence in parliament or resign.

This is the last of four provincial assemblies which passed the similar resolution against Musharraf before a formal impeachment motion is tabled.

The ruling coalition parties on Thursday announced that they would launch impeachment against the president. The speculation about Musharraf's resignation has mounted since then.

But the presidential spokesman Rashid Qureshi on Friday slammed some reports on Musharraf's resignation as "totally baseless and malicious".

The spokesman said such unsubstantiated reports were creating uncertainty and negative impact on the country's economy.

The coalition needs a two-thirds majority votes in a joint session of upper and lower houses.
