| Li pled guilty to drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter, the People's Court in Wangdu County said in a statement. The statement also said that Li had received leniency because he confessed to all his crimes and his family reconciled with the victims' families through compensation. Li's parents gave 460,000 yuan to the family of Chen Xiaofeng, who died, and 91,000 yuan to Zhang Jingjing, who suffered a fractured leg. |
