Everything is big in New York. The buildings, the cars, the roads and even the food is super-sized. And according to the Mayor's office, so is the population of Chinese that call the city home.
Glitter rain, dancing dragons and colorful traditions welcome in the Chinese New Year in New York City....
New York Resident, said, "It's about bringing the family together, eating, playing and having fun."
And the fun's just getting started according to the Commissioner of Cultural Affairs for the New York City Mayor's office.
John C. Liu, NYC Comptroller, said, "The rabbit is a fortuitous character we are talking about making leaps and bounds ahead of where we have been and that's what people have to look forward to..."
And as we leap into this New Year very cold New Yorkers send the warmest of wishes.
