A study suggests that bringing pet dogs to work can reduce stress and make the job more enjoyable, BBC reported.
Randolph Barker, leading academic author and Professor in the Virginia Commonwealth University, said having dogs around in the workplace may contribute to employee performance and satisfaction.
He reported positive comments from employees such as "pets in the workplace can be a great bonus to employee morale", "having dogs here is a great form of stress relief" and "dogs are positive; dogs increase cooperation."
