At 10:00 PM on May 6, a Ferrari sports car was lifted up to an ancient rampart in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and started on its 10-meter wide surface, China News Service reported.

It turned out that a car sales company had made a deal with the rampart protection office, which allowed the Ferrari to be exhibited on the rampart's 600-year-old roof.

Investigations have shown that the rampart did suffer certain damages and the car exhibition event has been suspended.

據中新社報道，5月6日晚10時，一輛法拉利跑車被吊到江蘇南京的一段古城墻上，在10米寬的墻頂部啟動。

原來是某汽車經銷商與城墻保護部門達成了協(xié)議，要在這段有600年歷史的城墻頂上辦法拉利車展。

調查顯示，該城墻已受到一定程度損傷，車展已被叫停。
