Photo taken on May 28, 2011 showed that a herd of buffalos grazed at the side of a channel in Shucheng County, which was located in the lower reaches of Longhekou reservoir, east China's Anhui Province. The lingering drought has affected Anhui Province since this spring. Longhekou reservoir, one reservoir of the Pishihang water conservancy system, has irrigated a total area of 103,300 hectares in its lower reaches since April 29, 2011.
