In celebration of the Spring Festival, a Chinese lantern show was held at the Baoding Huai Army Office museum in Baoding, north China. The event featured lanterns with various patterns, traditional Chinese opera performances, and cultural relic exhibitions.
The Baoding Huai Army Office museum, also known as Zhaozhong Temple, was built in 1888 during the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). The memorial temple complex serves various purposes including ritual activities. With a building area of around 5,000 square meters, it is a large and well-preserved memorial hall for the Huai Army. The complex is noted for its unique architectural style and rich historical significance.
