Inter Milan reached the Champions League last four for the first time in seven years by beating 10- man CSKA Moscow 1-0 Tuesday thanks to a goal from Wesley Sneijder.
Sneijder fired a low free kick through the wall in the sixth minute, beating goalkeeper Igor Akinfeyev after the ball glanced off CSKA midfielder Keisuke Honda.
The lone goal sealed a 2-0 aggregate win after Diego Milito scored in Milan in the first leg of the quarterfinals.
CSKA fullback Chidi Odiah was sent off in the 49th minute after receiving a second yellow card.
Inter last made it into the final four of the competition in 2003 but lost to city rival AC Milan.
