On day ten of the London Games, a total of 25 gold medals were up for grabs. China, pocketed one gold and two silvers to keep it in the lead on the medal tally, with a total of 31 gold medals.
On the tenth day, the first gold for China came from the women's Laser Radial.
Xu Lijia, who won the bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics, quickly rebounded from being penalized for rocking the boat and opened a comfortable lead on the Nothe Course in Weymouth Bay. In the end, she netted a score of 35 points for the gold.

Defending champion, Chen Yibing won silver in the men's final, while Brazil grabbed gold.
World and Olympic champion Chen had been expected to retain his crown and seemed to have the gold within reach after a strong performance and solid landing.
But his Brazilian rival Nabarrete Zanetti produced an inspired display to snatch the title away from one of the greatest ring specialists.
The 22-year old gymnast from Brazil, the last competitor to mount the rings, edged out Chen by 0.1 of a point with a score of 15.9.
Another silver medal also came from artistic gymnastics.
In the women's uneven bars, China's He Kexin took the silver.
He Kexin with the highest difficulty score of 7.1 in the qualifications, extended her routine and executed it accurately, landing 15.933 points as the finals' starter.
Aliya Mustafina from Russia, the all-around bronze and team silver medalist at the 2010 world championship, won gold after ending with 16 point 1-3-3 points, despite finishing a lowly fifth in the qualifications.
In women's shot put, China's Gong Lijiao, Li Ling and Liu Xiangrong each ranked 4th , 5th and 7th, missing the chance to win any medals.
