Alexander Radulov scored two goals and assisted on another as Russia beat Norway 4-0 to reach the men's ice hockey quaterfinals at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games on Tuesday.
Radulov, the enigmatic forward who was heavily criticised for taking two penalties in Russia's shootout loss to the United States on Saturday, ended his team's scoreless streak, which had extended to 101 minutes in regulation time and overtime.
Russia will face Finland in the quarterfinals at Bolshoy Ice Dome on Wednesday.
"I think we play better and better with each game," said Ilya Kovalchuk, who finished the game with a goal. "Even against Slovakia, I think we played well and created a lot of chances."
Norway failed to register a win in four games in the tournament, losing to Canada, Finland, Austria and Russia, and being outscored 16-3 in the process.
