Li Na, China's double grand slam winner, attended a charity event supporting mother and baby health at the Great Hall of People in Beijing on March 26, 2015.
Pregnant Li called for women to be strong, positive, happy, and healthy on their journey to motherhood.
The event was jointly organized by China Children and Teenagers' Foundation and Babytree, a pregnancy and parenting portal.
The 33-year-old grand slam winner Li Na announced her retirement from tennis on September 19, 2014.
Li won the Australian Open in last January to add to her 2011 French Open title. She became a national sporting hero in China after becoming Asia's first grand slam singles champion.
According to the Forbes list of highest paid female athletes, only Russian Maria Sharapova who lives in the America has higher off-court earnings than Li Na.
