Qi Lin's outstanding 31-point performance propelled the Xinjiang Flying Tigers to their second consecutive victory, overcoming the Beijing Royal Fighters 112-105 in the ninth round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League on Sunday.
In the first quarter, Xinjiang established a 33-26 advantage as Qi Lin scored 18 points.
Qi continued his strong play, adding consecutive points to help Xinjiang secure a 68-50 lead at halftime.
Despite the Royal Fighters becoming more aggressive in the final quarter, they failed to catch up.
Qi led Xinjiang with 31 points and five rebounds. Abdusalam Abdurexit contributed 19 points and eight assists. On the Beijing side, Grant Riller matched Qi with 31 points and six assists.
