Israeli EuroCup club Hapoel Tel Aviv announced on Tuesday the signing of the former NBA player Jonathan Motley for two seasons.
The 29-year-old American center recently played for the Turkish side Fenerbahce, with whom he won the domestic league and cup double last season.
He also played 72 Euroleague games for Fenerbahce in the last two seasons, averaging 12.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, and reached the Final Four with the team in May of this year.
Motley played college basketball at Baylor, and between 2017 and 2020 played 46 NBA games, with the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 4.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
Then he played for the Incheon Elephants of the Korean Basketball League and Russia's Lokomotiv Kuban of the VTB United League, before joining Fenerbahce in June 2022.
Hapoel's General Manager George Chinas said: "Jonathan has a unique set of abilities in defense and offense and will add great strength to us. This signing makes it clear how high our ambitions are for the coming season."
