The complete list of World Table Tennis (WTT) China Smash participants was announced on Saturday.
China's Wang Chuqin, Hugo Calderano of Brazil, Chinese paddler Liang Jingkun, French teenager Felix Lebrun and Chinese veteran Ma Long were listed as the men's singles top five seeds.
The top five seeds in the women's singles include China's quartet of Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, Wang Yidi and Chen Xingtong, along with Shin Yu-bin of South Korea.
The Chinese pair Lin Gaoyuan/Lin Shidong became the men's doubles top seeds, while Li Yu-Jhun/Cheng I-Ching of Chinese Taipei sat on top of the women's doubles seeding list. For the mixed doubles, South Korean duo Lim Jong-hoon/Shin Yu-bin claimed the top seeds.
Eight players in each category will be determined through qualifying rounds in the men's and women's singles events.
The WTT China Smash is scheduled from September 26 to October 6 in the Shougang Park of Beijing's Shijingshan District, with winners in each of the five categories earning 2,000 world ranking points.
