The sixth edition of Beijing's college curling competition concluded at the National Aquatics Center in Beijing on Sept. 22. Over two days, 19 curling clubs from colleges across the city competed at the dual-Olympic venue's underground ice sports arena.
The venue's Ice Sports Center upgraded its curling facilities and implemented an internationally recognized timing and scoring system to enhance the event's professionalism and athletes' experience. The center also offered pre-game warm-up sessions to help participants acclimate to the competition environment.
This marks the first time the event has been hosted at the National Aquatics Center. The competition enriches the venue's offerings while strengthening ties between college curling clubs and professional training services, further boosting the talent pool for curling among college students in Beijing.
