Following the morning presentations by the seven candidates, the IOC will host an Extraordinary Session in the afternoon to decide the host city for the 2028 Winter Youth Olympic Games, with Italy's Dolomiti Valtellina as the sole contender after their Targeted Dialogue with the IOC earlier this year.
Sebastian Coe, Juan Antonio Samaranch Jr., Prince Feisal al Hussein, Kirsty Coventry, Johan Eliasch, David Lappartient, and Morinari Watanabe have all declared their candidacies for the presidency, with the election scheduled to be held at the IOC Session in Greece from March 18 to 21, 2025.
