Veteran manager Miguel Angel Russo is set to take charge of San Lorenzo for a second time, according to widespread media reports in Argentina on Wednesday.
The 68-year-old, who had a spell as San Lorenzo's manager in 2008 and 2009, has agreed in principle to a deal that runs until December 2025, according to the Clarin newspaper.
It added that Russo's official presentation was expected to take place on Thursday evening.
San Lorenzo have been searching for a new manager since parting ways with Leandro Romagnoli on Sunday.
Russo's first match in charge of the Buenos Aires outfit is expected to be Sunday's home fixture against Barracas Central in Argentina's Primer Division.
