Interim England coach Lee Carsley has made some changes to his final squad before Thomas Tuchel takes over as full-time coach in January.

England travels to Greece on November 14 and then entertains the Republic of Ireland three days later as they look to return to the top tier of the UEFA Nations League.

Carsley has brought Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale back into his 26-man squad, with Newcastle's Nick Pope missing out.

Meanwhile, Manchester City's John Stones hasn't made the squad, but Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall and Southampton centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis have both been given a first call-up.

Left-back is a position that has given problems in recent months, especially as Manchester United's Luke Shaw has struggled with injury.

Liverpool's in-form midfielder Curtis Jones comes into midfield, with Carsley telling the press that he had not been influenced by Tuchel in his selection.

The coach also said his role was "with the Under-21's", while adding that his time as a stand-in for the senior team had helped him get a better understanding of the level that the youngsters needed to reach to succeed at the top level.
