Uncapped forward Giuliano Simeone has been drafted into Argentina's squad for the team's home World Cup qualifier against Peru, the Argentine Football Association said on Sunday.
The 21-year-old Atletico Madrid player's inclusion follows the withdrawals of defenders Nahuel Molina and Cristian Romero due to injury.
Molina suffered a hamstring tear in the Albiceleste's 2-1 away loss to Paraguay on Thursday while Romero aggravated an existing foot problem.
Argentina and Peru will make their final competitive appearances of the year when they meet at La Bombonera in Buenos Aires on Tuesday.
Reigning World Cup and Copa America champion Argentina leads the 10-team South American qualifying group with 22 points from 11 outings, three points ahead of second-placed Uruguay. Peru is ninth with just one victory so far.
