Real Madrid has suffered another injury setback with the news that Eduardo Camavinga tore his left hamstring during a 2-0 Champions League defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday night.

The French international, who missed the opening weeks of the season with a knee injury, went down in the 55th minute of the game with his hand on the back of his left leg.
Real Madrid confirmed the injury on Thursday morning explaining that "after the tests carried out today on Eduardo Camavinga by the club's medical department, the player has been diagnosed with a muscular injury in the biceps femoris of his left leg."
Although the club didn't say how long Camavinga will be out of action, commenting only that "his progress will be monitored", he is likely to be out of action for at least three weeks. This means he will sit out La Liga games against Getafe, Athletic Bilbao, Girona and Rayo Vallecano and a Champions League visit to play Atalanta, and is a doubt for the Club World Cup final on December 18.
