The nominees of the 2024 Best FIFA Football Awards were announced on Friday, with voting open across a number of award categories until December 10.
Six players from Real Madrid are included in the shortlist for Best FIFA Men's Player award, namely Dani Carvajal, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe and the now retired Toni Kroos.
Ballon d'Or winner Rodri was also nominated alongside Manchester City team-mate Erling Haaland, Barcelona's young talent Lamine Yamal, Inter Miami's Lionel Messi and Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Florian Wirtz.
In the women's award, the list was dominated by Barcelona and Spain players, with Aitana Bonmati, Mariona Caldentey - now of Arsenal - Ona Battle and Salma Paralluelo all nominated.
Fans, current captains and coaches of all women's and men's national teams and media representatives can vote for Best FIFA Men's Player, Best FIFA Women's Player, Best FIFA Men's Coach, Best FIFA Women's Coach, Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper and Best FIFA Women's Goalkeeper.
The winner of the FIFA Fan Award will be chosen entirely by fans, while the recipient of the FIFA Fair Play Award will be decided by an expert panel.
FIFA has also introduced the new Marta Award, which will honor the best goal scored in women's football, while the Puskas Award has been redefined as being bestowed to the scorer of the best goal in men's football.
Fans can also vote for the Best FIFA Men's 11 and Best FIFA Women's 11 along with an expert panel.
