Pablo Guede has been appointed manager of Puebla for the 2025 Mexican top-flight season, the club said on Monday.
The 50-year-old Argentine replaces Jose Manuel de la Torre, who was sacked in November following a poor run of results.
"I wanted to come, and the club wanted me to be here, so that made it easy to reach an agreement," Guede told a news conference on Monday.
"It's an honor to have the responsibility of managing Puebla, and I'm looking forward to the challenge of leading this group of players in 2025.
Guede has been out of work since parting ways with Argentinos Juniors in August amid a poor sequence of results.
Puebla finished the 2024 Liga MX Apertura season 15th in the 28-team standings with just four winds from 17 outings.
