Palmeiras is preparing a bid to sign Uruguay international winger Facundo Torres from Orlando City, according to media reports in Brazil.
Orlando has set an asking price of at least 10 million euros (10.5 million U.S. dollars) to release the 24-year-old, who is tied to the MLS club until December 2026, Globo Esporte reported on Monday.
Torres scored 20 goals and provided seven assists in 44 games across all competitions for Orlando City this year.
He has been capped 19 times for Uruguay and scored one goal since making his international debut in 2021.
Palmeiras finished second in the 20-team Brazilian Serie A standings with 73 points, six points behind Botafogo.
