Matias Godoy scored a stunning second-half winner as Central Cordoba secured a 1-0 victory over Velez Sarsfield in the Copa Argentina final on Wednesday.
Godoy put his side ahead just before the hour when he took a touch to control Luis Angulo's pass on the right wing before lifting a 30-yard effort over the head of goalkeeper Tomas Marchiori and into the top far corner.
"The players gave their all for this and now they deserve to celebrate," Central Cordoba manager Omar De Felippe told reporters after the match at Estadio 15 de Abril in Santa Fe.
"We are lucky to have such a spectacular group of young players who have made history for this club."
The result means Central Cordoba automatically qualify for next year's Copa Libertadores for the first time in its history.
