Northern Chinese city Erdos of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region took over the host flag at the closing ceremony of the Chinese Ethnic Games on Sunday evening.
As the host city of the Ethnic Games in 2015, Erdos has committed to hold a jolly and harmony version of the quadrennial event for the multi-national country. It will be the second time that the traditional games for China's ethnic nationalities to be staged in Inner Mongolia.
"Guiyang has set a high standard for all the successors, and we feel encouraged and honored to be the next hosts," said Adia, director of the autonomous region's commission for Ethnic Affairs.
The previous hosts are Tianjin, Hohhot, Urumqi, Nanning, Kunming, Lhasa/Beijing, Yinchuan, Guangzhou and Guiyang.
