OpenLeaks - open information revelation
Similar to Wikileaks, OpenLeaks is a planned whistle-blowing website. |
Similar to Wikileaks, OpenLeaks is a planned whistle-blowing website. It was established by Daniel Domscheit-Berg, a former German employee for WikiLeaks in December 2010. It aims to build a strong and transparent platform and support informers via technology and politics. Meanwhile, it will encourage other people building the same project.
Although Daniel was the employee of Wikileaks, its idea of building OpenLeaks is completely different from Wikileaks. OpenLeaks will not release information directly. It will get information and then give it to third parties and let them publish it. Domscheit-Berg describes it as a "technology project that is aiming to be a service provider for third parties that want to be able to accept material from anonymous sources."
