Aberdeen harbor (香港仔避風(fēng)塘)
Aberdeen harbor is located on one of the southern tips of Hong Kong Island. It provides shelter for fishing boasts during storms.
Hundreds of people live in the Aberdeen Harbor, which is juxtaposed against modern buildings spreading up the nearby hillsides and lead a traditional fishing lifestyle. Hundreds of junk and old-fashioned boats are their floating homes.
Besides getting a close-up look at the Aberdeen way of life, visitors may also enjoy tasty seafood. A magnificent three-layer floating restaurant is anchored here and elaborately decorated with traditional Chinese elements. It offers delicious fresh seafood and Cantonese fare.
