Qingdao is located on the southern coastline of the Shandong Peninsula, facing the Yellow Sea. Dubbed as "Eastern Switzerland," Qingdao is one of China's most important port cities. With a beautiful coastline and a unique blend of sea and mountains, it's also one of the most popular travel destinations around the country. After July, the seawater warms, and the temperature stays between 20 and 28°C, it's the best time to visit Qingdao and enjoy the beach.

Every August, the International Beer Festival is held in Qingdao, which attracts millions of travelers at home and abroad to enjoy the carnival.
