Zhaopin.com, one of China’s leading human resource solutions providers, has published its latest list of China’s top 100 best employers, providing the companies a reference benchmark for recruiting employees and handing out suggestions for job seekers when weighing their job options.
The world’s top 500 enterprises are the big winners this year, with 41 of them entering the top 100 list. Their large scales, global power and favorable paychecks and benefits make for an attractive job package.
The survey was conducted in 93 cities across the country over the past three months, jointly undertaken by Zhaopin.com and Peking University's Corporate Social Responsibility and Employer Brand Communication Research Center. More than 2,132 employers were involved in the first stage of the process, hitting a record high.
The top 100 firms were selected on the criteria of four indices, including their application materials, media image, expert recommendations and an online poll, accounting for 10 percent, 10 percent, 40 percent and 40 percent of the final result respectively.
A list of the 30 best employers is expected to be published in December. To ensure the most accurate research results, they will be screened on the basis of a questionnaire, information research, face-to-face interviews with employees as well as reviews from experts in the human resources field. An external public survey and an in-depth internal employee investigation will also be conducted.
The following are the top 100 best employers in China 2013 (listed in no particular order).
