Typhoon Ida(臺風(fēng)艾達)
Deadly Typhoon Ida hit Japan in September, 1958, with a landfall speed of 115 mph (185 km/h). The speed of its peak winds reached 200 mph (325 km/h). It caused great damage to Japan’s properties, estimated to be US$50 million (1958 USD). The storm left around 1,269 people dead.
